Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1. This promotion is only open to UK residents. Participants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of application, excluding employees and their immediate families of Boots Opticians and CooperVision Manufacturing Limited (together, the "Promoters"), their agents, distributors, merchants, retailers and anyone professionally connected to this promotion.
2. Promotional Period: This promotion is open for Qualifying Purchases (defined below) from 01 June 2023 until 31 May 2024.
3. The promotion is available through selected Boots Opticians stores only.

Claim instructions:

4. To receive your Cash Back you must switch from Oxylens monthly sphere into Protect+ monthly sphere, Oxylens monthly toric into Protect+ monthly toric or Oxylens monthly multifocal into Biofinity multifocal  through your Boots Contact Lens Reward Plan from selected Boots Opticians stores within the Promotional Period ("Qualifying Purchase"). Qualifying Purchases are subject to availability. 
5. You will only be eligible for the Cash Back offer if the cost of your monthly direct debit increases.
6. Go to www.BootsOpticiansCashBack.co.uk and complete your details, including your Boots Contact Lens Reward Plan number, using the online form.
7. Incomplete, illegible, incorrect, defective, misdirected or late submissions will not be accepted. Proof of registration will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost, damaged or delayed forms and/or their contents. You are reminded of the nature and limitations of the internet and the Promoters accept no liability for (a) any failure or delay to receive a completed form, resulting from your connection to the internet, any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure or any inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless services, the internet and/or any website; (b) any injury or damage done to any person's computer or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the promotion or to download any materials in connection with the promotion or any other; or (c) any loss, damage or breach arising as a result of an event outside of the Promoters’ reasonable control.
8. There is a maximum of one claim per person.
9. This promotion is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

Your Cash Back value

10. The maximum Cash Back Value is as follows:
    1. Protect+ monthly sphere per eye: £15 paid in four quarterly payments of £3.75.
    2. Protect+ monthly toric per eye: £21 paid in four quarterly payments of £5.25.
    3. Biofinity multifocal per eye: £36 paid in four quarterly payments of £9.00.
11. Valid applicants will receive four equal quarterly Cash Back payments by PayPal to the PayPal account linked to the email address supplied at the time of the claim. Valid and current PayPal account required. Payments cannot be reissued and are non-transferable.
12. Please allow 60 days from receipt of a valid claim for receipt of your first Cash Back payment.
13. No cash or other alternative is available.
14. Quarterly Cash Back payments will stop if you cancel your monthly subscription payments via direct debit. Once stopped, you will not be able to receive further Cash Back payments even if you restart your subscription payments via direct debit.

Claim close date:

15. Claims must be received on or before 23:59 on 31 August 2024 and applications received after this date will be rejected.

General:

16. No bulk or third-party applications will be accepted. Any person trying to circumvent this process by any method or who is not participating within the spirit of the promotion (in the Promoters’ reasonable opinion) will be disqualified and any Cash Back award made will be cancelled.
17. Instructions to claim your Cash Back as detailed above form part of the terms and conditions of this promotion. Any claim that does not meet the specific requirements of the promotion will be deemed invalid.
18. The Promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature, howsoever caused, sustained in any way by any participant in this promotion. However, nothing in these terms and conditions shall have the effect of excluding or restricting liability for personal injury or death caused by proved negligence of the Promoters nor any other liability which it would be unlawful to exclude or restrict.
19. All decisions are at the Promoters’ absolute discretion and are final. No correspondence will be entered into by the Promoters.
20. Consumers and patients should always consult an eye care professional and have an appropriate prescription.
21. CooperVision Manufacturing Limited (“CooperVision”) will collect and use your personal information in connection with the promotion. For further information regarding the way in which CooperVision will use your personal information please visit www.BootsOpticiansCashBack.co.uk/privacy-policy.
22. These terms and conditions (including any non-contractual dispute or claims arising out of them) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising there from. Participants in Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring an action in their home courts. 
23. The Promoters reserve the right to verify any claimant’s details.
24. In exceptional circumstances, the Promoters reserve the right to delay, postpone, amend or cancel the promotion without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.
